Pettit House is a truly beautiful historic home that has been renovated in a careful and well-designed way. The modern country decorating is lovely. We have rented a number of homes in the County and in other provinces and countries. This was by far the best home for entertaining friends and family. The kitchen is large and extraordinarily well-equipped for cooks. We enjoyed doing some baking (blueberry muffins) and cooking a number of meals. The hosts are easy to communicate with and very responsive. The property manager is very friendly and hospitable and was readily available. The property is well situated for exploring the County by bike and by car. All of us had a wonderful stay!
